September is Hunger Action Month, a nationwide effort to raise awareness about hunger in America and inspire action. Together with thousands of other food banks and pantries in the Feeding America network, the Josephine County Food Bank is taking September to talk about hunger and inspire our community to take a stand. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Every action\u2015big or small\u2015is one step closer to an America where no one is hungry. When people are fed, futures are nourished, and we can all reach our full potential.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In 2024, 1 out of every 5 Josephine County residents accessed emergency food services.<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Join Josephine County Food Bank this September for Hunger Action Month, and help support all of our food-insecure neighbors across Josephine County. Whether you donate time, money, or food, or spread awareness about hunger online or in person – you are working to support our 25+ local food assistance sites and the 21,000 people who depend on them every month.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In 2024, Josephine County Food Bank and our network of partner agencies distributed 2.8 million pounds of food throughout Josephine County. This would not have been feasible without the support of all of our volunteers, donors, community partners, and funders! Together, we can make an impact on the lives of those experiencing food insecurity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
