DESCRIPTION:Hunger Action Month\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nSeptember is Hunger Action Month \n\n\n\nJoin us in taking 1 million actions against hunger! \n\n\n\nSeptember is Hunger Action Month\, a nationwide effort to raise awareness about hunger in America and inspire action. Together with thousands of other food banks and pantries in the Feeding America network\, the Josephine County Food Bank is taking September to talk about hunger and inspire our community to take a stand.  \n\n\n\nEvery action―big or small―is one step closer to an America where no one is hungry. Whether you donate time\, money\, or food\, or spread awareness about hunger online or in person – you are working to support our 25+ local food assistance sites and the 21\,000 people who depend on them every month.  \n\n\n\nIn 2024\, Josephine County Food Bank and our network of partner agencies distributed 2.8 million pounds of food throughout Josephine County. This would not have been feasible without the support of all of our volunteers\, donors\, community partners\, and funders!
